Mom ~ Ang ~ Gigi 

Born and raised in Michigan, wandered the country a bit, and came back home to settle. Married for 23 years 💗. Mom and stepmom to two daughters, three sons and every bird and squirrel. Gigi to two granddaughters, 6 nieces and nephews, and 3 great-nieces and nephews. Currently adjusting to a strange new phase of life with an almost empty house, *in theory* having more time for sewing and reading and birdwatching. Always hoping that I have inspired all the children in my life to love and respect the Earth for not only her resources but also for her beauty, creativity, solace, wisdom, and restorative powers. 

With an ever-evolving view of our typical American life I struggle to feel enthusiastic towards many of the traditional holidays and national celebrations, but the seasons save me. I am quarterly inspired to find new ways to share each season with my family; enthusiastically on the search for new recipes, seasonal activities, and yet another way to incorporate pinecones into everyday life.

Bucket list includes singing All Cried Out with Caleb, seeing wild horses in the Outer Banks, watching all the Jimmy Stewart movies and growing penis peppers. 

Misses visiting family, staying in hotels and alone time with husband. 

Dreams of designing pretty things, writing a picture book of the first female Santa and sleeping through the night.

Went to school for Freshwater Studies and then decided that I wanted to write and make stuff instead. 

My hobbies include: yelling about the environment, posting unsolicited videos of myself dancing on the internet, attempting to make things without instructions or any prior experience, and watching Monsters Inc. over and over again until I die.

Vegan, low waste, and anxious. Collector of books, plants, tattoos, gray cats, glass jars, and shoes that don’t match any of my clothes. 

Firm believer that never staying in one spot for too long and cheating at every game of Monopoly is the only way to get through life.
